Over Thanksgiving I went to my grandparents house in Alexandria, Louisiana. All of our cousins except for one family meets there. Almost everyday it rained so we pretty much had to stay in and watch TV. There was one exception. They have a slide in the backyard so everyone, but me, got to go on that while it rained. It was a bummer! Everything else was really fun.

Dear Mr. Fleming,
I went to my grandparent's ranch on Thanksgiving day and stayed until Saturday. All my cousins came up there and we had a fun time. We played football and rode four wheelers and played on hay bales. My grandpa even picked up a hay bale with us on it with a tractor and took us on a ride. On Saturday before we left for Houston my cousin and brother killed a snake. My cousin, Tyler, had tripped and almost put his hand on a Cottonmouth snake(they're venomus). Luckily for him it was cold and made the snake slow but it opened it mouth and was about to strike before my brother shoot him.
On Sunday we went to a nursery by our house and picked out a 7'6" Christmas tree. Once we brought it home, we dragged all our Christmas decoretions out from the attic and began decorating our tree. It was fun! Our Christmas tree is a frosted one(my little brother and dad wanted this kind). It contains homeade ornament and bought ones . It has red, blue and multi-colored lights too.
This is what I did over Thanksgiving break!
Sincerely,
Kolby

Dear Mr. Fleming
Over this thanksgiving holiday Austin and I went to a hockey tournament in Dallas. Not just me and Austin came, our whole family did too. We went there for three days Friday, Saturday, Sunday. We had 4 games that whole 3 days which I totally disagree with, we should have had 3 games a day. Well, anyways we lost 3 games out of 4. The first game we lost in a shootout, the second game we lost 8 to 4, the third game we lost 2 to 4, the fourth game we WON! 5 to 2.
We came back on Sunday, which really was to bad, we didn't get to miss any school at all. Oh well at least the tournament was fun. Our family also went to Joey's house on thursday before the tournament. At Joey's house we played a lot of guitar hero 3.My big brother was the best at there. Then we ate, and had a dessert contest of who's homemade dessert was the best, I forgot who won. There were 2 or 3 other family's there too. After the dessert contest we played some halo 3 and call of duty 4. When we got tired of that, all the children went out to play night tag. It went on for hours until we had to leave for a hockey tournament. It was hard to say good-bye to our friends but we still had to leave and go to the hockey tournament.

During the break I took some time to relax. I also got a jump on spiral homework. I got to have my friends over to go to the park. For once I had a lot of free time, usually I would have reahersals for the "best christmas pagent ever" but every one was on vacation so there was no point in going there.

Dear Mr.Fleming
my Thanksgiving was great!exept my mom was sick so she couldn't go with us to Austin and we couldn't stay with her cause we made these plans over a month ago so she stayed home. When my dad got home on Tuesday he said that he had a suprise! i love suprises, Rachel and I packed up our stuff gave mom a kiss good bye and left. After about 20 mins of driving we pulled up by a black car yep!, my dad got a new car!We transfored the stuff in the old car to the new car. Before we got the new car Rach and I were fighting about who would sit in the front and no one sat in the front cause the car had a dvd player when we finally got there we went to sleep. On Thursday we went to my cousins house my sis ran the 5mile turkey trot in Austin after that we ate the Thanksgiving feast then went to the ut game. On Friday we left.
that's how I spent my Thanksgiving.

On thanksgiving break I didn't go anywhere but I sure had fun cooking! My siblings and I where in charge of the desserts and I baked vanilla cupcakes. They where delicious! Almost everything was homemade. Mostly my family relaxed, but just because so we could catch up on all our sleep. Of course since it was a break I had to promise to clean my room(bummer!)but I went along with it. On sunday I wanted the day to go by real S L O W L Y because it was the last day of vaction. At about 4:00 we went to the RCE playground and went home tired. Last, but not least, I had to work on current event. So I guess you could say I had a pretty good thanksgiving break. sincerly, B#5

Over my Thanksgiving I went to my dad's cousin's house. The children played outside alot, we played toliet tag, hide'n seek, and just playing around with vihecls (like the flying turtle, ripstick...etc). before dinner we said our big family prary by sterting with Uncle brian and ending with my dad. You had to say some thing you were thankful for so it was really funny cause Kat and Em were both thankful for surgenc and my brother was thankful for his mom, dad, Mrs.Browning, and me. At the dinner table the girls got to set in the fance dinning room, and the boys sat at the bar. At the end we played a last game of twister with Barret my cousin, Jessica P, and Myself. I had a normal Thanksgiving and I can't wait tell Christmas.

We don't celebrate Thanksgiving in Brazil. But this year was different. We don't have family here,so over Thanksgiving, I went to my dad's friend's house to eat "vulture". I call it that because the turkey over fried so much that it got black. I didn't eat it though...
During Sunday night,My father went to a friend's house to fix their Home Theater and I got lucky to go there with him at that hour! ( 7:00 )(bedtime is around 7:45)
We also got some serious shopping done in this holiday! ( around $800 with everyone in the family, including the new camera, a Nikon*!
I had an awesome Thanksgiving!

Dear Mr.Fleming,

I did not go anywhere over Thanksgiving break, but I had the feast of my life! My mom made the Thanksgiving dinner. My sisters and I were in charge of desserts. One sister mades a fruit-covered plate, except for in the middle, on which a creamy dip sat. My other sister made French vanilla cupcakes, with vanilla icing. Being the chocoholic that I am, I made Ghirardellie chocolate brownies, complete with chocolate topping, which was spread after they were baked. They were so rich that I could feel the brownie bites sinking way down to the bottom of my stomach, or I guess you could say that it was so rich as to cause instant diabetes! I was crushed when the last brownie bite disappeared. Really, I was c-r-u-s-h-e-d! They sure were good, "if I do say so myself", (quoted from the Nutcracker himself in last year's fourth grade Nutcracker). That is how I spent my Thanksgiving, or should I say, that's how I spent my Thanksgiving dinner.

P.S. I think I gained five pounds!

P.S.S. Now, it's on to Christmas. On Dasher, on Dancer . . . and well, all those other antler-headed creatures.

Sincerely,
F#9
