Thanksgiving

Take a few moments and share with the class what you did over the Thanksgiving break. Did you go anywhere? If so, where? Did you do anything exciting or was it a relaxing time? We look forward to reading what you write!

The Houston Symphony

Last week we had a chance to see a wonderful performance by the Houston Symphony. The conductor shared with us how his songs tell a story without words. The symphony played various pieces to which the conductor shared the composer's story. He asked us to focus on how the different sounds reveal the story.

Share some of your thoughts based off what you learned. Remember he shared the cat and dog story, the galloping of horses, the taxi horns, etc. What was your favorite part? What did you think when he said the pieces followed the story arc? Explain. I apologize for the delay on this blog!
