As you were sitting in class today, what were your thoughts as you heard the various speakers throughout the inauguration. What stands out in your mind the most from what you viewed. The Houston Symphony

Last week we had a chance to see a wonderful performance by the Houston Symphony. The conductor shared with us how his songs tell a story without words. The symphony played various pieces to which the conductor shared the composer's story. He asked us to focus on how the different sounds reveal the story.

Share some of your thoughts based off what you learned. Remember he shared the cat and dog story, the galloping of horses, the taxi horns, etc. What was your favorite part? What did you think when he said the pieces followed the story arc? Explain. I apologize for the delay on this blog!
